i am far to pedantic with my preparation before painting. hence why it is taking me soooo long. starting to look good with a lot of white though. my neighbour keeps telling me it will be too stark, yet through on some white and gray fabric awnings, french style, and i think it will be prefect!

thanks Ange. i have such toned arms now after all this work! now what to do about the ugly fence without replacing! perhaps a creeping jasmine planted in front might help.
