owen and vokes....my favourite in brisbane

I've been a fan of Paul Owen's work since selling his house in Ascot a few years ago. I'm still a big fan. Hopefully he will still be in practice when I have the finances to buy a large parcel of land in the bush and the finances to get him to design something. one day.

kitchen

i'm back in kitchen mode. i started stripping all the old enamel off my kitchen walls with a heat gun today. the house is about 100 years old so you can image it is stuck on there pretty well. the heat gun works brilliantly. only about $50 for a bosch one from bunnings, $6 for a good scraper and away i go.

and a few more pictures

i really like the chalkboard paint on the wall in the earlier picture. i would like to do the same yet i have vj panelled walls so it might not work. i would have to write horizontal. interesting idea.

Little Kitchen Ideas

check out the flooring in the first picture. amazing. simply stunning. i'm also really keen on the wall tiling in the 2nd picture. its very clean for old style tiling.

poliform library shelves

Perhaps too contemporary for my liking, yet I do like the portions of the library shelves.

bathrooms. if only i could have all this

I really like the basins on the farm style vanity bench, sideboard, whatever you call it.

This last bath is divine. So grand yet still farm like. I am curious as to what it is made from. It is so thick.
