You might not know where Pinkenba is, but it is a 4008 postcode which means it isn't far from the brisbane CBD, in fact, only 12klms.

I have just listed this ecclectic little property for sale. The character is overwelming. Notice the bird, Fred, who is in the tree. He is capable of a full conversation. Mind you, I think he told me the other day "I don't want to talk to you, go away".

now this is cute

How adorable is this house! Two of my colleagues sold it last year. It is situated in beautiful clayfield. I like the curved window in the bedroom, the cris-cross on the front porch and the manicured gardens. Divine.

I used to live across the road from this house. Their renovation took about 2 years. The owners only moved in briefly, then sold it. They did achieve about $3,500,000 for it in 2007, and consider it backs onto units on Racecourse Road, it was probably a good price. Brilliant renovation. My favourite parts are the outdoor pool house, the kitchen and the front of the house with several gables.

If anybody knows the builders/architects, I am more than happy to acknowledge them in this blog, so please send through the details.
