bedrooms thoughts...white floors with a contemporary monochromatic colour scheme

might as well rest your head in a nice place! time to sort out by bedroom. half painted walls is not attractive.

black in the bathroom......am i game?

i have been toying with the idea of a black kitchen. or at least black cabinets and black subway tiles. am i game to take black to the bathroom. would it make sense to have black very distinctive both? i am loving the wallpaper yet how will it last with my hot steamy showers? what to do?

a girls favorite room......bathrooms thoughts

so i am just about to start doing some work to my bathroom. am i game enough to add wallpaper? not quite sure. i love the old style free standing basins and i do actually have a really old one, yet it is pink. quotes came back at around $600 to re-enamel it as it is cast iron. perhaps it is more cost effective to buy a new one that is similar in style. time to go shopping. and toilets? what toilet looks good?

claire forlani's home.......definately a favourite

i loved these pictures mostly because of the hexagonal stone/slate tiles.  then i saw it was claire forlani's own house. she is absolutely stunning. the wallpaper in her bedroom is the same wallpaper, although in a different colour, as the cirque cafe in new farm. a favourite of most locals. thanks to megan of mimi & meg for posting.

office ideas

I don't have room for an office, yet if I did, it would have to be stunning. I spend a hell of a lot of time in front of the computer and on the phone, so why not make it an inspiration place.

And here it is in pink! I love it. Have to have it!

Turns out i can get it printed, from designyourwall.com. my grandmother would certainly think this is gay. Gay in her world, meant 'happy'. She wasn't familiar with its more current meaning.
